Simon is an accomplished professional in the power electrical industry with extensive experience across diverse sectors including airports, education, healthcare, industrial and manufacturing facilities, offices, retail, residential, and warehouses. His expertise spans energy audits for commercial and industrial properties, with a strong focus on sustainability through the design and implementation of high-efficiency LED lighting solutions for energy efficiency.

In addition to his technical experience, Simon is an Industrial Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer. He has also contributed his knowledge to national initiatives, notably representing MyCIE as a member of the SIRIM Malaysia Working Committee in drafting standards for the lighting industry. He currently serves as a member of the MS1525 Task Force 9, responsible for the revision of the Energy Management System for Non-residential Buildings under the Malaysia Standard.

Professionally certified by the Energy Commission of Malaysia, Simon holds credentials as a Registered Energy Manager Type 2, Wireman PW4, and Chargeman BO. His qualifications further include recognition as a Certified Energy Manager by the ASEAN Centre of Energy (ACE) and accreditation as a Certified Trainer with HRD Corporation.
