He holds a PhD in Engineering by research in Nanotechnology and Energy Storage System from the University of Nottingham, UK, and dual degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Commerce (in Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Finance in Investment Derivatives from the University of Western Australia. Dr. Ng is a registered Professional Engineer in Malaysia and a Chartered Engineer in the UK, underscoring his strong technical background and commitment to professional excellence.

Currently, Dr. Ng serves as a Board Member for several prominent public companies including Samaiden Group Berhad, ACO Group Berhad, and HE Group Berhad. He chairs key board committees such as the Remuneration, Nomination, and Risk Management Committees and is also a member of the Audit Committees. His leadership ensures robust corporate governance, effective risk management, and strategic remuneration frameworks that drive sustainable business growth.
