Association of Energy and Infrastructure Economy
Persatuan Ekonomi Tenaga dan Infrastruktur (PETIR), also known as the Association of Energy and Infrastructure Economy, brings together professionals and stakeholders who are shaping Malaysia’s energy and infrastructure landscape. We offer practical training, advisory support, and meaningful events designed to benefit both our members and the broader community.
PETIR focuses on strengthening industry knowledge and encouraging the adoption of good practices that help the sector progress. We actively support the development of renewable energy, energy efficiency, electric mobility, sustainable energy solutions, and the full energy supply chain. Our efforts are also aligned with the Malaysian Government’s New Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), reinforcing our commitment to national energy transition goals.
Since our formation, PETIR has been connecting and guiding professionals across the energy and infrastructure fields. Through our initiatives, members gain valuable insights and skills that support innovation, sustainability, and stronger economic outcomes as Malaysia moves forward in its energy transition and infrastructure development.
OUR MISSION
Support
The mission of the Association of Energy and Infrastructure Economy is to support, develop and train target groups in economic sectors involved in energy transition, renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy conservation and related technologies and infrastructure.
Advisory
To provide information, provide support, establish and provide advisory services regarding the organization of exhibitions, forums, conferences, study and training programs to members of the association, any other organizations, and the public that have goals that are in line with the objectives of this association.
Learning
To provide organizers for matters related to exhibitions, forums, conferences, studies and training, as well as provide scholarships, prizes, awards and contributions to individuals, universities and other educational foundations.
Training
To conduct assessments and provide training related to the energy and infrastructure economic sectors, and to award certification to any individual or party who has reached the level of qualification as determined by the association, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities.
